Amy – Little Princess Trust

March 9, 2014

SquareLogoHigh1Well my name is Amy. I got my hair cut for charity on Saturday 1st March. Here is how it all started.

My mum and I were sitting watching ‘Children in Need’ and I asked, “Can I do something for children in need?”.  My mum said, “It’s a little bit late now.” I saw a boy getting his hair shaved and I said, “Can I do that please?”, my mum said, “No, that is way too over the top” I said, “Can I jus

t get my hair cut then?” Then she said, “Yeah great idea!” So she looked it up on the internet and we found the Little Princess Trust which is a charity that provides real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.

I got my hair cut at Sonata’s hair salon and I was on BBC radio Cumbria with Val Armstrong on Saturday 1st March and I was in the paper on Monday 3rd March.  In total I raised £790, thank you everybody for sponsoring me! Here are some pictures of me having my hair cut.
