World Book Day

March 14, 2017

On Thursday 2nd March we celebrated World Book Day once again by dressing up, bringing in our favourite bedtime stories and books and bringing in a teddy to share our bedtime stories.

Each class chose their own books to use for the day and produced lots of fantastic work, from writing to drama to art work. The children (and teachers!) also shared their favourite books and teddies with the class and explained why they were so special to them.

Dressing up this year was optional as the playground was so muddy from the building work, but we still saw an amazing and very impressive array of book characters turn up on the day. Well done to everyone who took part, either by wearing a costume or bringing in your favourite teddy or book. We all had a super day!

Your child should have received their £1.00 book token on World Book Day, which can be exchanged for one of the £1.00 special World Book Day Books or as £1.00 off the price of any other book. Happy reading!

Have a look at some photos of our day.
