The Year 6 SATS are fast approaching!  You may find some of the websites below useful in answering questions you may have or in finding some free or paid resources to help your child prepare for the tests. The Department for Education’s own website has a lot of useful information about the administration of the SATs. Click here

  • This is a great website for parents which should answer a lot of your questions, including about the new format some of the tests will take this year. Click here
  • CGP books are a very popular website for child friendly books you can buy to use at home for that little extra ‘boost’ before the SATs. There are a wide range of books, so if you need any advice, please pop into Rowan Class. Click Here
  • Scholastic also offer a wide range of resources, some free, some through subscription and some paid for. Click here
  • A brilliant (free) website which children can work through on their own it has explanations and challenges for literacy and numeracy. Recommended! Click here
  • Past papers. A free site which has all of the past SATs papers (literacy and numeracy) available free to download. Answer papers are also available (you will need to register your email address). Click here
  • Past papers including Science. No email registration required. Scroll down to find the past papers. Click here
